Topcon Aquila SEM Available from Nanounity.

Nanounity announces that it has entered into an agreement with Topcon to distribute their Aquila Hybrid Scope in the U.S. and Canada. The Aquila is a compact scanning electron microscope (SEM) combined with an optical microscope, capable of microanalysis with energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) that brings the strength of all three techniques together in a compact design.

The Aquila is an all in one system; it’s fast, easy to use, sits right next to your desk and all you have to do is plug it into a standard electrical outlet. Notable features include 30x optical microscope, macro to micro navigation of the entire sample, motorized X, Y, tilt and rotatable stage, fully controlled by software.

With an SEM magnification range up to 50,000x, acceleration voltage range from 1kV to 20kV, and state of the art EDS detector from EDAX, the system allows you to do real microanalysis with a compact SEM. The Aquila offers truly useful functionality, optical, SEM and microanalysis, without the high cost normally associated with SEMs.

The Aquila complements Nanounity’s lines of Atomic Force Microscopes, conventional Scanning Electron Microscopes, Stylus and Optical profilometers. The company offers a comprehensive suite of imaging and analytical solutions for all budget ranges, user levels and applications.
