Monetary Donation from The VWR Foundation to Support Volunteer Doctors and Nurses

PHILADELPHIA, PA — As relief efforts continue following the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti, VWR International, LLC, announced today that it would contribute essential first-aid and medical supplies to hospitals and clinics. Product donations from the international laboratory supplier will go directly to Hope for Haiti and will include gloves, hand sanitizers and respirators valued at approximately $200,000. The Company’s recently-launched corporate foundation, The VWR Foundation, will also make a financial contribution to Doctors Without Borders. The monetary donation from the Foundation will support the volunteer doctors and nurses as they continue to provide urgent medical care to victims.
