Management Change at Sias AG

On 1 January 2011, Andre Günter will take over as new CEO of Sias AG in Hombrechtikon

(Canton Zurich, Switzerland). His predecessor Pius Fink will continue in his role as CTO as well

as chairing the board of directors from now on. The change comes as part of Sias AG’s

corporate strategy of building on its leading position as an OEM supplier of robotic liquid

handling platforms.

Within the framework of Sias AG’s long-term corporate planning, André Günter has been appointed as

new CEO and managing director with effect 1 January 2011. He takes over from Pius Fink, who will

from now on chair the board of directors and concentrate on his role as CTO and member of executive

management. The move is designed to ensure continuity in the technological development of Sias

AG’s products and services.

The new CEO has already spent two years in Sias AG’s executive management as COO. André

Günter is a Swiss Certified Auditor with an Executive MBA (IMD) whose previous career milestones

have included roles in the financial industry and industrial consulting. From 2006 to 2008, before joining

Sias, he served as CFO of Hilti AG in Spain. Sias AG is delighted to be able to draw on his extensive

experience to face the challenges that lie ahead. Thanks to his solid training and educational

background, André Günter is ideally equipped to shape the sustainable and innovative development of

the business.
