LabVantage announced today that it has been awarded a five-year Information Technology (IT) Schedule 70 Contract with the United States (U.S.) General Services Administration (GSA) to sell its SAPPHIRE Laboratory Information Management Suite (LIMS) and related services to eligible U.S. federal agencies and their subordinate entities. The GSA Schedule leverages the buying power of the federal government to obtain pre-negotiated contract terms and pricing to simplify and streamline LIMS procurement for federal agencies.

To obtain an award, a company must first satisfy the strict criteria set forth by GSA demonstrating both superior quality and competitive pricing. LabVantage underwent an extensive vetting process, including a detailed financial assessment, credit check, and reference check. In the schedule, LabVantage has agreed to offer government agencies a pre-negotiated package for:
