Bruker Elemental and XGLab SRL announce marketing cooperation agreement

Kennewick, WA USA –- Bruker Elemental is pleased to announce a marketing cooperation with XGLab SRL, developers of the ELIO, a portable XRF system that fits nicely into Bruker’s Art Conservation product portfolio in the United States. The ELIO provides a very small spot analysis and will be positioned between Bruker’s Tracer handheld/portable XRF and Bruker’s semi-portable laboratory systems (Artax and M6).

The XGLab ELIO Portable ED-XRF Spectrometer has a 1 mm diameter sample spot with two pointing lasers, a microscope camera and an external video camera for exact positioning with a manual tripod mounted x-y-z stage. The ELIO has a 4W rhodium tube excitation source with manual filters and a large area silicon drift detector. ELIO software controls the instrument, has full Fundamental Parameters XRF analysis capability and a project/report creator.

Bruker Elemental sees the XGLab ELIO as a complementary analytical tool to its large installed Handheld Tracer EDXRF customer base at museums, galleries, auction houses and conservation labs throughout the United States.
