New Management Team at LEWA Process Technologies

Devens, MA USA -– LEWA Process Technologies, Inc., announces a new senior

management team to lead the growth and expansion of capabilities in project engineering,

services, operations and to direct new product development at its Devens, MA facility. These

industry-seasoned executives replace and expand on the former owners who recently departed

the business to pursue other interests.

Formerly Integrated Process Technologies, (founded in 2000 and acquired by LEWA-Nikkiso in

March 2013), LEWA Process Technologies (“LPT”) is a producer of high precision fluid processing

systems and services provider for the bio/pharmaceutical, life science and other high purity

industrial customers. Now a part of the $1.1B Nikkiso Group of companies, LPT leverages the

global sales and service channel of LEWA-Nikkiso America, Inc. (“LNA”), LEWA GmbH and

Nikkiso Corporation in Asia.

we recruited top flight candidates experienced in engineered products for the life science

industry.” says newly appointed CEO Peter Castellanos who continues his role as Managing

Director and President of LEWA-Nikkiso America, Inc. – (Holliston, MA and Houston, TX) and

with the company over 12 years. “Recent system sales to China, Singapore and Germany of

Devens, MA built LEWA EcoPrime® LPLC chromatography skids is an indication of the rapid

acceptance of LEWA’s new technologies for pharma and biopharma production on the global

scale.”

The new leadership team includes:

Mark Dyment joins LPT as Sr. Director of Operations. Mr. Dyment will be responsible for all

Product Development, Engineering, Operations, Services and Quality at LPT. Mr. Dyment was

most recently Director, Global Operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific and over 20 years at

Millipore Corporation both Global Life Science leaders providing cutting-edge technologies,

tools, and services for bioscience research and biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Mr. Dyment

held roles as Director Global Supply Chain Senior Operations Manager at Millipore’s Jaffrey NH

and Bedford, MA plants Plant Manager, in Limerick Ireland and Manufacturing Manager and

Manager – Corporate HSE at Millipore’s Bedford, MA plant.

Greg Collins joins as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for LNA and will be headquartered at LPT’s

plant in Devens and is responsible for overseeing all LNA and LPT financial activities. Mr.

Collins was most recently CFO and Corporate Secretary at TissueTech, Inc., a recognized

leader in regenerative medicine therapies and Amniox Medical, Inc. (Atlanta, GA) a subsidiary

of TissueTech focused on orthopedics & wound care markets. Greg was also at Johnson &

Johnson / Depuy Companies, – a $1B global leader in the spine therapy market as Vice

President, International Market Development, Asia Pacific Vice President, Strategic Initiatives’

Vice President, as well as Finance and Integration Leader roles.

Tiffany Hearn joins the Deven’s team as Human Resource Leader. Ms. Hearn has held HR

leadership roles at The Arc of Opportunity in North Central MA and Effervescent Inc. in

Fitchburg, MA as well as UMASS Memorial Foundation, Worcester, MA. A graduate of The

George Washington University, Washington, DC she has held a variety of HR leadership roles

in MD, DC and MA over the past 15 years.

Gerard Gach joined LPT as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in 2013. Mr. Gach has 12 years in

Global Marketing Roles at General Electric in both their Life Sciences (Healthcare) and Water &

Process Divisions. A 30 year industry veteran he has held senior leader roles in Sales,

Marketing and Business Development roles at GE, Pall Corporation, Koch Membrane Systems

and Osmonics. Mr. Gach is responsible for new venture strategy and marketing.

Under the new leadership team LEWA will strengthen the heritage IPT business of systems’

design, engineering, automation and manufacturing as well as field piping, OEM, engineering

services and refurbishment. In parallel they will be charges with introducing a new line of

chromatography based systems. LPT recently signed a licensing agreement with ChromaCon,

AG (Zurich, Switzerland) for continuing processing equipment for the biopharmaceutical

production of next generation therapies.
