CAMBRIDGE, UK. — Cambridge Bioscience today announced its appointment as the new European Distributor for DV Biologics LLC, (Costa Mesa, CA, USA). The agreement brings together DV Biologics’ cutting edge human primary and stem cell systems, genomic tools and custom cell derivation expertise with Cambridge Bioscience’s proven ability to commercialize new life science research technologies.

The new partnership is also expected to accelerate the development of new human biologic products, including induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells, optimized media and additional cell-derived tools. Both Companies are very active in promoting and supporting the use of human tissues and cells in biomedical research and recently participated in the Human Tissue Research Network Summit (www.humantissueresearchnetwork.com) which brought together representatives from many of the World’s leading pharmaceutical research organizations and specialists of human cell providers to share knowledge and experience of how greater use of human biologics can be made to enable more efficient and effective drug discovery research.
