Xylem showcases its measurement and analytics solutions at Pittcon 2012
Orlando, Fla.,– Xylem Inc., a leading global water technology company, announced today that it will showcase its portfolio of highly engineered measurement and analytics solutions, including innovative new products, at Pittcon 2012. Pittcon is the world’s largest annual conference and exposition for laboratory science, and is taking place in Orlando, Fla. from March 11-15, 2012. Xylem’s market-leading analytics portfolio, featuring its well-known and respected brands such as YSI®, WTW® and OI Analytical®, will be on display at Xylem’s booth, # 3171 at the Orange County Convention Center.

Among the new products being introduced at Pittcon 2012 are:
• Offering both speed and accuracy, YSI’s 2900® series biochemistry analyzer is ideal for bioprocess monitoring and bacterial fermentation, and combines YSI’s trusted biosensor measurement technology with ease of use, providing rapid results in just 60 seconds.
• YSI will also introduce the new digital-based IQ Sensor Net 2020 XT, designed for easy, efficient and continuous monitoring and control. Benefits include better network visibility and management, early detection of network failures, improved compliance with regulatory targets and cost savings.
• Ideal for all laboratory applications, the WTW-branded inoLab Multi 9420 and Multi 9430 feature universal sensor ports which allow connection to the innovative IDS sensors for measurement of pH, oxidation reduction potential, dissolved oxygen or connectivity.
• The ebro®-branded EBI 310® temperature data logger is uniquely able to produce data reports automatically in standard PDF format, in addition to specialized data logger software.
• The Bellingham & Stanley®-branded Pro-Juice® refractometer is designed specifically to overcome common repeatability issues that occur when analyzing orange juice during the reconstitution phase of production.
• The SonTek-IQ hi-tech flow meter is designed specifically to address the needs of the open channel irrigation market. Leveraging SonTek-IQ’s renowned expertise in pulsed acoustic Doppler technology, the system also features flow modeling in small irrigation canals, resulting in a device that offers precise measurement and is easy to install.
