Felix Instruments to present new tool for measuring Total Soluble Solids at Citrus Expo in North Ft. Meyers, FL

Camas, WA – Felix Instruments—Applied Food Science will be attending the Citrus Expo in North Ft. Meyers, Florida over August 19 and 20, 2015.

Felix Instruments General Manager, Michael Larman, will be available to demonstrate the full Felix Instruments product line including the F-750 Produce Quality Meter.

The F-750 uses near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy to estimate dry matter, total soluble solids (TSS, also known as brix), and assess fruit maturity and flesh color. High levels of TSS have been positively correlated with citrus consumer preferences, and Felix Instruments is excited to partner with the citrus industry to enable growers and packers to cultivate and sell the best quality produce achievable!

A new F-750 Citrus Application Note and Infographic have been released by Felix Instruments this week. Please visit the Felix Instruments website to read more!
