The new detector option enables short integration time down to 10 µsec as well as accurate synchronization control for external triggering. These factors are especially useful for applications like LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) with short pulsed emission events.

FREEDOM combines compact size, cost efficiency, and high performance with a now even greater flexibility in the choice of detector system. These benefits make FREEDOM especially well-suited for integration into portable and handheld instruments.
