Leica Nilomark offers consumables and instruments to healthcare and medical research laboratories. The company has a strong market position in the Finnish market and represents leading suppliers within areas such as microscopy and histopathology. Leica Nilomark is acquired by Immuno Diagnostic Oy, a subsidiary in Addtech Life Science, and complements the operations in the business unit Diagnostics very effectively. The business unit focuses on sales of reagents and equipment for healthcare laboratories in the Nordic region.

The closing will take place today and the acquisition is estimated to have a marginally positive effect on Addtech’s earnings per share during the current financial year.
