Kuala Lumpur (PRWEB) June 12, 2009 — Synamatix today announced a partnership agreement with India-based PREMAS Biotech. In this agreement PREMAS will act as Synamatix’s representative in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

This collaboration will provide research institutes in the three countries with a comprehensive range of high-quality bioinformatics services to enhance their scientific research in the genomics field.

As PREMAS is the exclusive distributor of Illumina in India, it has the added advantage of understanding the requirements of the diverse scientific community in South Asia. Synamatix provides an array of sequencing and bioinformatics services under its SynaWorks™ programme, which leverages the company’s extensive pipeline of proprietary bioinformatics solutions for processing, mining, analysing and visualising data generated from Illumina’s Genome Analyzer platform.
