Innovative Turbidity Measurement Technology from Hach Ensures Accuracy

Simplifies Calibration and Saves Time – Hach’s new 2100Q portable turbidimeter is the easiest to use and delivers the most accurate turbidity readings across all applications

Loveland, Colo. – Hach Company (www.hach.com) introduced today a new instrument for measuring turbidity that delivers superior accuracy and ease-of-use. The Hach 2100Q portable turbidimeter offers advanced features such as on-screen assisted calibration and verification, simplified data transfer, and measurement innovation for rapidly settling samples.

The new 2100Q makes it easier to monitor water cleanliness and clarity, to test product quality and consistency, and to meet turbidity regulations where grab samples are used.

· Single-standard RapidCal™ calibration offers the simplest solution for low-level measurements.

· Single-step verification and on-screen assisted calibration eliminates the need to reference complicated manuals.

· USB module enables simple data transfer. All data is easily downloaded to any computer, providing superior data integrity and availability.

· Exclusive algorithm in the Rapidly Settling Turbidity™ mode provides accurate, repeatable measurements for rapidly settling, difficult-to-measure samples while eliminating the need for redundant measurements and estimating.

“The Hach 2100Q is the easiest tool for monitoring turbidity in the lab or field, with advanced functionality that makes calibration and verification easy and gives an accurate result every time,” Thom Voll, Hach Global Business Unit Director, said.

The 2100Q can be also used to verify process turbidity measurements from the Hach 1720E process turbidimeter or to trouble-shoot processes where turbidity is a key parameter.
