Allentown, PA — Micro Photonics Inc., the leading source of advanced X-ray microcomputed tomography instruments from Bruker, expands their laboratory services. Micro Photonics’ state-of-the-art facility features three multifunctional research systems– the Skyscan 1172, 1173 and 1174. In addition, Micro Photonics is excited to announce that they have added the New SkyScan – 1272 Micro-CT, as well as a second SkyScan 1173 Micro-CT to their lab, making them the leading source for Micro-CT research.

Secondly, the lab services expansion includes 3D printing of samples. Using the CTAnalyzer software, an STL file is generated from the stacks of micro-CT images. The STL can then be virtually edited and customized prior to being sent to the 3D printer, resulting in unique physical models.
