Ettlingen, Germany. Rigaku Corporation is pleased to announce that, as of July 1, 2016, Dr. Michael Hippler has joined the Rigaku Group as the Managing Director of Rigaku Europe SE.

Prior to joining Rigaku, Dr. Hippler led an extensive career that includes experience with both X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) at Philips Analytical. In the interim, he led sales, service and applications teams for nanotechnology divisions within the analytical instrument industry for Agilent Technologies, Nanofilm and others. With his proven record of accomplishment in direct sales and distribution leadership, Dr. Hippler will further the mission of providing the company’s client markets in Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Middle East and Africa with fully integrated solutions across a wide variety of disciplines and industries.
