UHPLC Report Published

The migration from HPLC to UHPLC continues to fuel growth in the overall LC market, with performance, workflow and productivity enhancements driving end-user purchases. LC manufacturers are making the transition for end-users somewhat seamless, particularly with the expansion of column chemistries, including the use of sub–2 µm, sub–3 µm and superficially porous particles (core shell) particles.

The UHPLC market is at a critical point, with technologies and economic factors influencing purchasing decisions. Being a force in the market requires constant knowledge of end-user needs, as well as insight into the advantages and disadvantages of particular systems and competitors.

This information was extracted from Strategic Directions International’s (SDi) new market research report, “Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography: Performance is King,” which presents the results of a survey of 253 end-users.
