Woburn, MA 12/2/09; Bergen, Norway 12/9/09—Electrochemistry instrument supplier Nova Analytics has acquired Aanderaa Data Instruments AS (AADI) through its Nova Analytics Deutschland GmbH subsidiary. The sale was completed on November 30. Financial terms were not disclosed. AADI designs, manufactures and sells sensors, instruments and systems for measuring and monitoring environmental parameters, with a primary focus on the ocean and environmental monitoring markets. “Aanderaa brings a host of both technology and application expertise to our portfolio of companies,” said Chris McIntire, president and COO of Nova Analytics. “With Nova’s present water quality expertise, we are particularly excited about the opportunities in both ocean monitoring and aquaculture, further expanding Nova’s Environmental product portfolio to better serve our customers.”
