Montgomeryville, PA 1/4/13—Microtrac, a Nikkiso subsidiary and provider of particle characterization techniques, has acquired Norwegian firm AnaTec. AnaTec supplies dynamic image analysis instruments and software. “Having the ability to market instruments that provide 3D image analysis and online capabilities represents a distinct opportunity that no other particle analysis company in the market can offer,” stated Microtrac President Paul Cloake.
