Thar Instruments, after the acquisition of Berger (see IBO 7/15/07), announced that the following products will become obsolete: the Berger MiniGram, the Berger MiniGram II, the Berger PrepSFC automated UV-triggered system and the Thar SFC Prep 200.

Agilent launched the cost-effective, easy to use 1120 Compact LC, available in five preconfigured versions, in India in November. The system will also be offered in China and Japan. Shipments are scheduled to begin in February 2008.
