Bruker Forms New Division
The new Division will be headquartered in Fremont, California. Mr. D’Silva also stated that he welcomed to Bruker the management teams, as well as the customers, of the acquired product lines.
Fremont, CA 4/1/10—Bruker has created a Chemical Analysis Division within its Bruker Daltonics subsidiary. The Division will include the ICP-MS, lab GC and triple quadrupole GC-MS product lines that Bruker plans to acquire from Agilent (see IBO 3/15/10). Collin D’Silva, a Bruker board member until this month and former CEO of Transgenomic, will manage the division. “Most importantly, we look forward to welcoming the customers of these three product lines, and we are committed to providing the highest level of applications and service support, as well as accelerated applications and product development, to this valued customer base,” stated Mr. D’Silva.
