MR Solutions announced in March that it now provides maintenance and upgrade support for existing Agilent Technologies MRI preclinical imaging systems.

In May, Spectro Scientific announced a joint marketing agreement with Wärtsilä Services Switzerland to develop a specialized version of its FluidScan oil chemistry analyzers for the control of base number in the cylinder lubricants for two-stroke marine engines.

Ondax introduced in March the THz-Raman Spectroscopy System for real-time, single-measurement identification of polymorphs and other hard-to-differentiate molecular and crystalline structures.
Bruker launched the Toothpaste Analyzer based on its TD-NMR minispec product line for the quantification of fluoride content.
Bruker introduced in May several products for fragment-based drug discovery screening and lead optimization: the SampleJet high-capacity sample changer with cooled sample storage; the QCI-F CyroProbe triple resonance probe; and CMC-q software. Bruker also launched FUSION-SV software, an integrated solution for structural verification using MS and NMR; InsightNMR for on-the-fly NMR analysis of chemical processes; and AssureNMR, a customizable solution for evaluation of diverse materials.
In March, B&W Tek introduced i-Spec Plus and i-Spec Nano portable NIR analyzers.
In April, Picarro launched the G5131-i analyzer for measurement of stable isotopes of oxygen and nitrogen in nitrous oxide; Flux Processor software for flux estimates of greenhouse gases from soils; the new Picarro G2401 for long-term reproducibility of carbon monoxide measurements; and the Continuous Water Sampler for real-time analysis of water isotopes.
Princeton Instruments released LightField 5.0 scientific imaging and spectroscopy software, featuring a new “math engine” for analyzing 64-bit data in real time.

Chemring Detection Systems released the PGR-1064 handheld Raman chemical, narcotic and explosives identifier, with a battery life of over 10 hours.
