Jordan Valley Sells Analytical Instrument Division

Jordan Valley is known for its price sensitive ED-XRF systems. The divestment allows Jordan Valley to focus on its semiconductor metrology business, which offers the same technologies.

Austin, TX 7/7/08—Xenemetrix announced that on June 15 it acquired Jordan Valley’s Analytical Instrument Division, which suppliers energy dispersive–X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy instruments (ED-XRF). Xenemetrix was formed by a private management group, led by CEO Doron Reinis, a founding partner of Business Processes, a consulting, production engineering and industrial engineering services firm. “As Jordan Valley Semiconductors Ltd. focuses on the semiconductor markets, one of our main priorities was the continued care of the customers of our Analytical business, and the qualifications of the new management team,” said Isaac Mazor, CEO of Jordan Valley Semiconductors. Xenemetrix will be based in Haifa, Israel, with its main sales office in Austin, Texas.
