Product Introductions
AB SCIEX released the MS/MSALL with SWATH Acquisition technique, which systematically fragments all components of a sample through a rapidly moving selection window, for use with the TripleTOF 5600 System.
In May, Waters announced three new UNIFI software solutions: the Waters Screening Platform, the Waters Pesticide Screening Application and the Waters Metabolite Identification Application. They will begin shipping in the fourth quarter.
Waters released new software packages for the SYNAPT G2-S MS: HDMS Compare visualization software for rapid binary comparisons of samples and High Definition Imaging software for MALDI imaging.
Waters and Nonlinear Dynamics released the TransOmics Informatics for its ACQUITY I Class and nanoACQUITY UHPLC and SYNAPT MS systems. It is aimed at harmonizing proteomics and metabolomics workflows. The first units will ship in the fourth quarter.
For its Elite and Q Exactive MS systems, Thermo Fisher Scientific introduced new software in May: SIEVE 2.0 for increased throughput during metabolite and protein biomarker discovery; ExactFinder 2.0 for improved analysis time in food safety testing; and Protein Deconvolution software to fully leverage high-resolution/accurate mass data during complex protein analysis.
Shimadzu launched the Accurate Glycan Analyzer 2 for the analysis of complex branched glycans, featuring the AXIMA Resonance QIT-TOF MS system.
