Product Introductions

Cell Guidance Systems launched Exo-spin kits for exome purification from a variety of biological fluids without the use of organic phases.

Agilent Technologies introduced a new AssayMAP peptide sample preparation solution, which offers automated protein digestion, peptide clean up and fractionation in preparation for MS analysis.

Virocyt released the ViroPrep Plus, designed specifically for the purification of viruses from egg- and cell-based systems. Using a spin column–based clean-up method, it allows parallel processing of up to 12 samples in less than one hour.

Porvair Sciences launched in October the Chromatrap96 HT, a 96-well chromatin immunoprecipitation assay plate, which essentially consists of 96 separate Chromatrap spin columns.

In November, Kinesis launched the TELOS MicroPlate SPE products, featuring a 96-well plate format, available in 5 mg and 10 mg sorbent masses with 50 µL elution volumes.

In January, Biotage introduced the ISOLUTE PLD+, a protein and phospholipid removal plate for the clean up of blood-based matrix samples for analysis by LC/MS/MS.
