Waters Corporation Names Jonathan M. Pratt as President of TA Instruments
MILFORD, Mass.–Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT) today announced that Jonathan M. Pratt has been named Waters Corporation Senior Vice President and President of TA Instruments, effective September 3, 2019. Headquartered in New Castle, DE, TA Instruments designs, manufactures, and supports premier thermal analysis, rheology, microcalorimetry, and mechanical testing technologies for the material and life science industries.
Mr. Pratt commented, “I am thrilled to join Waters and TA Instruments. Prior to joining Waters, Mr. Pratt was President of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, where he spearheaded efforts that drove improved operating profit and revenue growth both organically and through acquisitions. Additionally, he held senior positions at Pall Corporation, where he was President of its Food & Beverage, Laboratory and ForteBio businesses.
Mr. Pratt holds a BSc in chemistry from the University of Reading, UK and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Rob Carson, who has been serving as Interim President, TA Instruments, has returned full-time to his role as Waters Corporation Senior Vice President, Corporate Development.
