DECTRIS opens an office in Himeji, Japan
With an increasing number of X-ray detectors being installed at synchrotron sources and in laboratories, the Swiss company DECTRIS is setting up a subsidiary in Japan. With its office close to the SPring-8 synchrotron, DECTRIS JAPAN K.K. will get closer to its customers by offering direct sales and support services all over Japan.
DECTRIS’ commercial activities in Japan were started with its very important customer and distribution partner, Rigaku Corporation. “Since the foundation of DECTRIS, we have partnered with Rigaku very successfully. Together, we supplied our products to researchers in Japan, and they have been trusting us to provide them with the highest-quality products. We are thankful and proud of our achievements in Japan. We decided to be even closer to our customers in Japan with our own subsidiary, and we are eager to continue this journey”, says Dr. Christian Broennimann, President and CEO of DECTRIS Ltd. “Having reached this new milestone, we would like to thank Rigaku for years of successful partnership and excellent support for our customers.”
Dr. Takeyoshi Taguchi will serve as General Manager of DECTRIS Japan. As an expert in detector technology who is very familiar with DECTRIS’ product lines, Takeyoshi combines experience and a customer-oriented approach at the highest level.
DECTRIS JAPAN commenced operations in January 2021 and will fully take over from DECTRIS’ existing distributor in Japan, Rigaku Corporation, by the beginning of April.
Takeyoshi Taguchi is looking forward to receiving your inquiries about DECTRIS products and services at sales@dectris.com
