ArgusEye Secures €3.3M Funding Round Round to Real-Time Bioprocess Monitoring Platform

ArgusEye, a provider of advanced sensor solutions for real-time monitoring and control of bioprocesses, today announced the closing of a €3.3M funding round. The round includes continued support from existing investors, Voima Ventures and Eir Ventures, along with new investor Impilo Partners Invest.

The funding will accelerate the continued development of ArgusEye’s Auga™ platform, a patented real-time bioprocess analytics solution designed to deliver rapid and reliable results. By enabling continuous monitoring and enhanced process control, the platform significantly accelerates and streamlines bioprocessing.

Traditional biomanufacturing processes are often time-consuming and resource-intensive, relying

on  off-site testing that  can  delay  the  detection of  defects  or  production deviations.  The Auga™platform addresses these challenges by enabling real-time monitoring directly within the bioprocess, allowing faster decision-making and more efficient development and manufacturing

of biotherapeutics.

The timing of this investment reflects a broader shift in biopharma toward data-driven, continuous manufacturing. As regulatory bodies increasingly support real-time release testing and digitalized production, and as biologics pipelines grow more complex, the need for in-line, real-time monitoring has become critical. ArgusEye is positioned to meet this demand as the industry moves away from batch-based, off-line testing toward faster, more adaptive, and scalable bioprocessing.

ArgusEye originates from extensive biosensor research conducted at Linköping University. Since its founding in 2017, the company has scaled its operations significantly. Today, a growing team

of specialists in biosensors, biochemistry, hardware and software is driving the development of next-generation sensor technology. The company now counts several leading global pharma companies among its customers. This new investment will support continued validation of its platform with existing clients while also enabling further expansion of its global customer base.

Voima Ventures is a Nordic deep tech VC investing in science-based companies from early stage to global scale, and Eir Ventures is a Scandinavian life science venture capital fund. Both firms previously  invested in  ArgusEye  and  are returning  to support the  company’s  continued  growth. Joining the round as a new investor is Impilo, a Nordic investment company focused exclusively on companies operating in the pharmaceutical, medtech, specialist pharma services, and other healthcare-related industries.

Fredrik Odin, Impilo Partners Invest:

“ArgusEye combines strong scientific foundations with a platform that can enhance process control and efficiency in bioprocessing. We look forward to supporting the company in its next phase of growth and commercialization as the team scales the platform and expands internationally.”

Sofia Håkansson Buch, CEO of ArgusEye:

“This capital injection provides us with the resources to significantly accelerate both our technology development and our commercial expansion. We are now well- positioned to scale the Auga™ platform, strengthen our presence in key markets, and bring real-time bioprocess monitoring to a broader range of customers worldwide.”
