Agilent Cleared in Corruption Investigation

Last year, Agilent initiated an internal investigation related to certain sales of product through third-party intermediaries in China. The company voluntarily advised the DOJ and SEC of the investigation.

Washington, DC 9/30/14—In an SEC filing, Agilent Technologies announced that the US Department of Justice (DOJ) has closed its inquiry into possible violations of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act by the company’s employees in China (see IBO 9/15/13). Agilent was notified earlier this month that after completing its investigation, the SEC’s Division of Enforcement did not recommend any enforcement action.
