Agilent Sells Particle Sizing Companies
Particle Sizing Systems told IBO that the company’s headquarters have relocated to Port Ritchie, Florida, and that co-founder Kerry Hasapidis is the new CEO. Collodial Dynamics is now based in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Both companies offer all of the same products that they did prior to their acquisitions by Agilent.
Santa Barbara, CA 7/31/09; North Attleboro, MA 7/31/09—Agilent has sold two particle sizing system companies that it acquired last year. Particle Sizing Systems announced that in July Agilent sold the business back to its former owners (see IBO 7/15/08). Particle Sizing Systems supplies instrumentation for particle sizing, particle counting and zeta-potential monitoring. Collodial Dynamics also announced that Agilent has sold the company back to members of its original management (see IBO 3/15/08).
