Alpha MOS Files for Chapter 11

Alpha MOS revenues for the fiscal year ending September 30 rose 3.3% to €8.8 million ($11.6 million = €0.76 = $1). Earlier this year, the company completed a licensing agreement for its technology (see page 10).

Toulouse, France 12/10/13—Alpha MOS has confirmed to IBO that the company has filed for Chapter 11 protection in France. Describing the company’s plans following a court hearing, Alpha MOS President Jean Christophe Mifsud told IBO, “We have six months probation during which we are going to continue our focus on food safety and food quality, and on air safety and air quality, and license our IP portfolio in homeland security and in microsensors.” The company will remain publicly listed on France’s Euronext stock exchange.
