Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Based in Sydney, Australia, BTF generated 2006 sales of AUD 4 million ($3.0 million) and employs 24 people. “We are excited about the acquisition of BTF, our third company in the last twelve months,” said bioMérieux CEO Stephane Bancel. “We continue to implement our 2012 strategy, focusing on small to midsized acquisitions to complement our product portfolio and leverage our commercial network.”
