Royston, UK 7/4/16; Royston, UK 7/29/16—Blacktrace Holdings, which consists of a group of companies for “Productizing Science,” has introduced two new brands. Spun out of Blacktrace’s Dolomite Microfluidics business, Dolomite Bio is focused on high-throughput single-cell research. Products include microfluidic systems and modules, control software and reagents. Earlier in July, Blacktrace announced the formation of Particle Works to provide specialized high-performance nano- and micro-structured materials, including metal nanoparticles, quantum dots and hydrogels.

In addition to Dolomite, Blacktrace’s legacy brands include chemistry reactor maker Syrris; Centeo, a supplier of temperature-controlled microwell systems; and Glass Solutions for glass fabrication. The company has over 85 employees, according to its website.
