Billerica, MA 10/6/15; Washington, DC 10/6/15—Bruker has agreed to acquire Israeli firm Jordan Valley Semiconductors, a provider of in-line X-ray metrology products for nanotechnology research and semiconductor production. The purchase price is a maximum of $53 million, including $30 million in cash, according to a SEC filing by Elron Electronic Industries, which holds a 19% stake in Jordan Valley. Scheduled to close in the fourth quarter, the acquisition is expected to add $25–$30 million to Bruker’s 2016 revenues and be accretive by $0.01–$0.02 to 2016 EPS. Jordan Valley will join Bruker’s Semiconductor Division. “Jordan Valley has been a true pioneer in offering advanced and unique X-ray metrology solutions as feature sizes continue to shrink,” stated Mark R.
