The US Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) and China’s National Institute of Nutrition and Food Safety—Chinese Center for Diseases Control and Prevention have signed their first memorandum of understanding focused on food. The USP publishes the Food Chemicals Codex covering standards for food ingredients. The agreement includes potential collaborations for standards and analytical procedures.
