Danaher Makes Optic Sensor Acquisition

WET Labs’ products include fluorometers, transmissometers, scattering sensors and spectrophotometers for the measurement of biogeochemical properties of aquatic environments.

Washington, DC 4/22/10; Bellevue, Washington, February—Danaher announced in its quarterly earnings call that it has acquired Western Environmental Technology Laboratories (WET Labs). WET Labs was acquired by Danaher’s Sea-Bird Electronics business, which manufactures optic sensors for ocean measurements, including conductivity and dissolved oxygen sensors.
