Kyoto Electronics Manufacturing introduced in January the MKH-700 Hybrid Karl Fischer Moisture Titrator, featuring automated switching between measurement modes.

Mettler-Toledo launched the compact, affordable, easy-to-use EasyPlus family of titrators.

In March, Sensorex introduced the PH-1 mobile accessory for pH measurements, which eliminates the need for a dedicated pH meter. For use in the lab or field, it is compatible with iPod, iPhone and iPad devices. The free app displays pH, millivolts, ambient temperature and solution temperature in real time.

In April, In-Situ launched the smarTROLL Multiparameter Handheld and iSitu Smartphone application for any surface-water monitoring. It measures 14 water quality parameters and runs on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
