Endress+Hauser Purchases French Calibration Firm

Endress+Hauser announced 2006 sales of €985.2 million ($788.2 million), an 11.3% increase over 2005. From a sales perspective, France is Endress+Hauser’s third-largest market. The Switzerland-based company has more than 215 employees in France.

Reinach, Switzerland 6/20/07—The Endress+Hauser Group, a provider of physical properties instrumentation, has announced its acquisition of PB Mesures. Financial details of the purchase were not disclosed. Based in Clermont-Ferrand, France, PB Mesures is a services company specializing in the calibration and repair of laboratory instruments and equipment, such as spectrophotometers and centrifuges. Urs Endress, director of Endress+Hauser France, said that PB Mesures’ “service range provides the ideal complement to our own service sector.”
