Product Introductions
Restek released Rxi-17Sil MS fused silica capillary columns.
GERSTEL introduced the Selectable 1D/2D-GC/MS System, which is based on a single standard GC system.
PAC, a Roper Industries company, introduced the AC Analytical Controls Radian UltraFast GC, which utilizes microwave energy for faster heating and cooling.
Teledyne Tekmar released the AQUATek 100 Waters-only purge and trap autosampler, which utilizes a fixed-volume sample loop filled using a pressurization gas. It replaces the AQUATek 70 and provides 30% more sample capacity.
Agilent launched two Triple Quadrupole GC/MS Pesticide Analyzers based on the Agilent 7000 GC/MS. Version one permits the addition of GC detectors and is easily scaled to shorten run times. Version two delivers higher performance and shorter run times while consuming less carrier gas.
Bruker released the MS Workstation 7, which features a next-generation software package for Bruker’s 3×0 series GC triple quadrupole MS.
Shimadzu introduced the GCMS-QP2010 Ultra GC/MS in June, which features faster scan speeds, the capability to install two narrow-bore capillary columns into the MS simultaneously, and reductions in power consumption, carbon dioxide emissions and helium consumption.
Phenomenex introduced the Zebron AB-1XT SimDist metal GC column, which is specially designed for simulated distillation analyses in petrochemical applications.
Seacoast Science and Forston Labs released the Forston Mini GC, based on Seacoast’s SeaPORT Mini GC, which uses MEMS technology.
