INFICON’s Emergency Response & Security reported 2006 sales decreased 15.7% to $18.3 million to make up 9% of the total company’s revenues. Torion Technologies named Douglas W. Later, PhD, president and CEO last year. He was previously senior market development manager and director of corporate marketing for Dionex. Ion Signature developed a customized version of its Quantitative Deconvolution Software for Torion’s GUARDION-7 portable GC/MS. In February, Analytical Sensors and Instruments promoted Brian Williams, executive vice president and general manager, to CEO and president. Electronic Sensor Technology appointed Barry Howe COO in April. He was previously corporate vice president and president, Measurement & Control, for Thermo Electron.
