Grace Sells LC Instrument Business
The acquisition includes 20 employees. BÜCHI will keep W. R. Grace’s manufacturing site in Deerfield, Illinois. BÜCHI currently offers its own portfolio of preparative chromatography products, including flash chromatography systems, detectors and columns.
Flawil, Switzerland 4/12/16—BÜCHI Labortechnik has acquired W. R. Grace & Co.’s REVELERIS Flash Chromatography Systems, GRACERESOLV flash chromatography cartridges and ALLTECH ELSD 3300 product lines. Financial details were not provided. “This opportunity is perfectly aligned with our strategy to invest in preparative chromatography and complete our portfolio of solutions for drug discovery and development,” commented BÜCHI CEO Thomas Liner. W. R. Grace will continue to provide the purification media used for REVELERIS systems. W. R. Grace has also retained its DAVISIL and VYDAC purification media businesses.
