HORIBA Acquires Process Analytical Product Line
HORIBA told IBO that the acquisition will add GCs, pyrolyzed gas samplers and continuous emissions monitoring systems to the company’s product offerings, as well as expand its technologies and instrumentation for chemiluminescence, nondispersive IR spectroscopy, UV, and flame ionization detection.

HORIBA expects the acquisition to increase Process & Environmental sales by 500% to ¥6 billion ($64 million = ¥ 94 = $1) by 2018.
