IDT Adds to Oligo Business in Asia

IDT continues to build its presence in Asia, as this acquisition follows the 2012 purchase of 1st BASE, another Singapore-based oligo business (see IBO 4/30/12).

Skokie, IL 12/1/15—Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) has agreed to acquire AITbiotech’s oligonucleotide synthesis business, which is based in Singapore. Financial details were not disclosed. IDT stated that the acquisition will expand its Southeast Asian customer base.
