PerkinElmer launched in April the Ensemble for Biology platform, an integrated informatics suite of applications for creating a collaborative and integrated biology workflow from R&D to quality assurance and control.

In May, PerkinElmer introduced SearchGenius Software for use with Microsoft SharePoint Framework.

NextBio released in April NextBio Clinical for translational medicine applications. The platform aggregates and correlates terabyte-scale collections of private and public cross-platform omics data, experimental data from cell lines and other sources, and clinical data from individual patents and population studies.

In April, Integromics launched the OmicsOffice platform for the analysis and integration of genomics data from next-generation sequencing (NGS), qPCR and microarray technologies using the TIBCO Spotfire platform.
