Company Announcements Crosslinks BV joined InforSense’s Open Partner Network. LabWare’s 2007 revenues increased over 14% to $70 million and the company signed over 75 new customers. CAMO Software AS opened an Australian office in Sydney in March. Symyx Technologies joined the Microsoft BioIT Alliance. Agilent will distribute an embedded version of Accelrys’ SciTegic Pipeline Pilot with its OpenLAB software. In April, ArtusLabs closed a $2.6 round of Series A funding. Product Introductions InforSense launched the InforSense Workflow Library, an online central repository. InforSense released the InforSense Translational Research Solution for integrating basic research data and techniques with clinical research. Clarmon and Csols, its US partner, introduced the QAvalid Enterprise Compliance Management Solution for Computer Systems Validation. ChemAxon launched version 5 of Marvin and JChem, its application programming and graphic user interfaces. Symbion Systems released Symbion-LX 2.0, featuring expanded instrument control. InforSense BV introduced InforSense Virtual Machine (IVM), a standalone, lightweight workflow execution engine that can be embedded into third-party applications. InforSense also developed an OEM program for IVM. GeneGo announced in February that its products are now available for Mac and Linux operating systems and multiple web browsers. GeneGo introduced MetaMiner Cystic Fibrosis. LabWare introduced LabWare LIMS 6, featuring an interface that can be completely browser based. LabWare released LabWare WebLIMS 3 presentation layer, which does not require customer-specific programming or local code installation. Accelrys released Advanced Imaging Collection, ChemMining Collection and Gene Expression Collection for its SciTegic Pipeline Pilot platform. MathWorks introduced Release 2008a of its MATLAB and Simulink product families. In 2007, sales for the Software division of CAMO ASA increased 22% to $2.48 million (see page 12). PREMIER Biosoft International introduced PrimerPlex for designing custom oligos for use on Luminex-based platforms. Bio-Rad Laboratories released seven infrared spectral databases in March.
