Service firm Almac and TTP Labtech formed an alliance to give their customers access to their respective FLEXYTE fluorescence lifetime assay on the Ameon reader.
Labcyte announced in January a collaboration with the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland, which will apply acoustic liquid handling technology to the discovery of specialized leukemia treatments.

HighRes Biosolutions introduced the SampleVault modular automated sample store and the MicroSpin automated microplate centrifuge.
Artel released a new line of 100% DMSO-based Sample Solutions for the MVS Multichannel Verification System.
PerkinElmer introduced the JANUS BioTx Pro automated workstation for high-throughput, small-scale protein purification. It accommodates column, tip and batch chromatography modes.
Aurora Instruments released the VERSA 1100 Automated SPE Workstation, featuring a four-channel SyringePipettor with tip changer and up to eight ReagentDrop channels.
In April, Biochrom launched the EZ Read range of absorbance-based microplate readers. It includes the EZ Read 800, EZ Read LED and the EZ Read 2000, which offers a flexible wavelength selection.
Yaskawa’s Motoman Robotics Division introduced in April the MH3BM robot, designed to handle specimen processing, drug dispensing and medical research applications. It has a base width of 200 mm and a 360° base rotation.
CryoXtract released in May the CXT 350T Frozen Tissue Aliquotter for targeted, repeated and safe access to frozen biological tissue samples.
