In April, Aushon BioSystems named Susan Vogt CEO, replacing founder Peter Honkanen, who assumed the role of COO. Most recently, Ms. Vogt was president and CEO of SeraCare.

IntegenX named Robert A. Schueren CEO in April. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager, Genomics, at Agilent. Former president and CEO Steven Jovanovich, PhD, remains with the company as CTO.

Product Introductions

SCIENION and Innopsys announced a joint product offering for reverse phase protein arrays.

Oxford Gene Technology released in March the CytoSure Cancer +SNP array for research on hematological and solid cancers. It allows for the use of any reference sample without changes to the standard aCGH protocol.

Aspect Imaging introduced LumiQuant, a software and hardware solution for co-registering and measuring luminescence imaging images with the Bruker ICON MRI system. A multimodality cassette allows a mouse to be imaged and then moved to the MRI without perturbation.

Applied BioCode launched in April the second generation BioCode 2000 system for its 128-plex Magnetic Bead Technology. It is configured for 96-well microplates and does not require any fluids.

HORIBA Scientific introduced the OpenPlex platform for real-time analysis of label-free molecular interactions in a multiplex platform.
