Product Introductions
MR Solutions launched in October the MRS-PET system for simultaneous operation of PET and MRI preclinical imaging systems. The system can be inserted into a cryogen-free 3 T, 4.7 T or 7 T MRI magnet.
Agilent Technologies introduced the 4200 TapeStation system for the analysis of up to 96 DNA samples at a time. The company also released the D5000 and HS D5000 ScreenTape assays for analyzing DNA fragments and smears of up to 5,000 base pairs.
Bruker launched the SKYSCAN 1275 desktop x-ray microtomograph, featuring 2D/3D image analysis as well as a realistic 3D visualization.
In November, NanoString Technologies introduced the nCounter PanCancer Profiles, seven new gene expression profiles, each designed to interrogate a focused area of cancer biology, including immune-oncology. Each 192-gene panel includes 180 topic-specific probes and 12 universal housekeeping genes.
SCIEX introduced the CESI 8000 Plus, enabling multiple experiments to be generated from as little as 5 uL of staring material.
