Company Announcements Labtronics named Axion Control Systems a reseller of its LimsLink Suite. Labtronics appointed Katálysis as an authorized distributor of the LimsLink Suite for Brazil. In March, Symbion Systems partnered with Labtronics to offer solutions combining Symbion’s DX, RX and LX spectroscopic data software and Labtronics’ LimsLink. LabVantage Solutions established an office in Mumbai, India in December 2006. Twenty-five employees have relocated to the new office from the Kolkata office. LabVantage Solutions announced in February that it has achieved “Powered by SAP NetWeaver” status, enabling the exchange of information between the mySAP ERP application and its Sapphire LIMS using SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure Release 7.0. GenoLogics announced in January that it will work with Illumina to design its Geneus LIMS to support Illumina’s technology platforms. Northwest Analytical announced that LIMS company Baytek International has formally become a reseller of its NWA Quality Analyst and NWA Quality Analyst Web Server statistical process control software. Applied Biosystems and MODA Technologies signed a comarketing agreement in February, under which they will combine their respective MODA EM software and SQL*LIMS to provide an end-to-end solution for environmental monitoring. Sales/Orders of Note Sinopec, China’s largest company, standardarized on Thermo Fisher Scientific’s SampleManager LIMS.
