Repligen’s 2013 Bioprocessing Product sales increased 13.5% to $47.5 million to make up 70% of total revenues.

Novasep’s 2013 Synthesis sales grew 5.2% to €155.1 million ($206.8 million) to make up 49% of revenues.

In April, FloDesign Sonics, a developer of core acoustic separation technology for bioprocessing, closed a $10 million Series A financing round led by Bright Capital.

Protein Metrics released in March Byomap software for advanced peptide mapping.

AkzoNobel launched the Kromasil EternityXT family of columns, available in 1.8 µm particles for UHPLC, 2.5 µm particles for UHPLC and HPLC, and 5 µm for HPLC and preparative chromatography. They are initially available in C18 and PhenylHexyl.

GE Healthcare launched 800 mm ChromXACT chromatography columns.

In March, Buchi launched the PrepChrom C-700 system, combining flash with preparative HPLC and featuring quaternary gradient functionality and flow rates up to 250 mL/min. at pressures up to 1450 psi.

Repligen introduced the OPUS 45 cm columns.

Metrohm launched the 940 Professional IC Vario and 930 Compact IC Flex instruments, featuring automated inline eluent preparation and integrated fully automated inline sample preparation.

W. R. Grace released the ProVance prepacked Protein A single campaign–use columns designed for GMP purification of monoclonal antibodies.

In May, Waters expanded its CORTECS Column family, introducing a line of 2.7 µm silica-based, solid-core columns, available in C18+, C18 and HILIC chemistries and 48 configurations.

Advanced Materials Technology introduced the HALO 2 Fused-Core UHPLC columns, with 300,000 plates per meter for higher efficiency and 1.0 µm frits on the column inlet for less susceptibility to column plugging.

Agilent Technologies launched OpenLAB Chromatography Data Systems software A.02.01, featuring new data-acquisition, data-analysis, reporting, secure-storage and e-Familiarization capabilities. A software maintenance agreement is included at no additional cost.

Agilent Technologies introduced the 1290 Infinity Multisampler UHPLC autosampler, featuring a dual-needle injector set-up.

Fortis Technologies expanded its Speedcore core-shell columns product line, introducing 5 µm particle sizes.

In June, Phenomenex introduced the Lux Cellulose-3 and Cellulose-4 chiral stationary phases in 10 µm phases for batch preparative chromatography.
