BIA Separations appointed Hichrom as a UK distributor in March.

In March, Thermo Fisher Scientific announced the listing of its Thermo Scientific Prelude LX-4 MD HPLC as a FDA Class 1 medical device for general clinical use.

BIA Separations named new distributors: Medi Analytika for India, Guangzhou Bairui Medicine for China, Labena for South Eastern Europe, and Tecnocroma-Tecnicas Analiticas for Portugal.

In June, Novasep signed a partnership agreement with Allied Laboratories for Japan to provide business development and technical services for its LC products.

Agilent Technologies and Waters announced in June a formal agreement to exchange instrument controls for their respective OpenLAB and Empower software.

In April, Tosoh Bioscience launched in the Americas its TSKgel Amide-80 columns packed with 2 µm spherical silica particles.

In May, Waters introduced the ACQUITY UPLC Glycoprotein BEH Amide 300Å 1.7 µm column for MS-compatible HILIC separations.

In June, Phenomenex released 2.6 µm and 1.7 µm EVO C18 particle sizes, expanding its line of Kinetix core shell columns.

Novasep launched the BioSC Lab low-pressure chromatography system for protein purification in batch and continuous modes.

Waters introduced the ACQUITY Arc System, a quaternary LC. The single LC platform is designed for efficiently transferring, adjusting and improving methods regardless of the platform on which they were developed.

Agilent Technologies released the 1290 Infinity II LC Vialsampler, with shorter injection cycles.

Thermo Fisher Scientific launched the Thermo Scientific Vanquish Flex UHPLC System, featuring the ability to mix and match modules, and a new quaternary gradient pump.

Thermo Fisher Scientific introduced the Thermo Scientific ProSwift C4 RP-5H column, which utilizes a capillary design and low-pressure C4 monolith with a porous structure.
